Notice of Public Hearing
The Plateau Underground Water Conservation & Supply District will conduct a hearing on proposed changes in District Rules on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the Schleicher County Annex, 203 SW Main St., Eldorado, Texas.

Rule 7A
The average water level increase/decline will be reviewed by the Board of Directors every three years at least once a year, at which time production allowances for permitted wells may be adjusted to ensure the conservation and preservation of groundwater.
Rule 7D
The District may require permit holders to supply electrical records to verify the amount of water produced annually. The District also reserves the right to require the permit holder to install a water metering device as part of the permit specifications.
Invitation for Bids
The City of Eldorado will receive bids for its TDHCA HOME Program #1001432-RES#2010-0105 until 4:00 p.m. on May 03, 2012, at Eldorado City Hall, 6 S. Cottonwood Street, Eldorado,Texas 76936 to complete the reconstruction of Three (3) single family units with 1157 square feet per unit and with a alternated bid of 950 square feet per unit. All units must be completed with 120 days from the construction start date.
A pre-bid conference will be held on April 26, 2012 at 02:00 p.m. at Eldorado City Hall. If you plan to bid this project but cannot attend the Pre-bid Conference, contact Chris Krepps, Project Manager, at (806) 797-4299. Only contractors with a minimum of 5 years of successful home building will be accepted. If you are a first time bidder on the TDHCA HOME Program, a list of references will be required and will be reviewed. Contractor shall provide a construction bond covering all projects awarded or standby letter of credit with requirements and conditions as specified for the total amount of projects to be awarded. Contractor must provide proof of Liability Insurance and Builders Risk Insurance. All work must be met the following codes: Texas Minimum Construction Standards (TMCS), Texas Minimum Construction Specifications (TMC Specs), International Residential Code (IRC), Minimum Accessibility Requirements SB623, all local building codes, standards and specifications. Contractor must ensure that employees/applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or, national origin. The City of Eldorado reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality in the bidding. Bids will be opened publicly at the Eldorado City Hall on May 4, 2012 at 02:00 p.m. The City may hold bids for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to contract award. Contract award will be made to lowest responsible qualified bidder. Anyone wishing to protest the procurement procedures should submit a written complaint to:
